A Family-Owned Tradition with a Fresh Vision

Founded in 2001, Larkin’s Run has been a trusted provider of quality pet care in the Connecticut shoreline area. Now owned by Laura Laaman and her son Craig, they’re taking this loved facility to the next level. With over 30 years of pet industry experience between them, Laura and Craig have helped hundreds of pet resorts deliver the enriching, quality, and comfortable care all pets deserve. As pet lovers with 6 dogs between their two families, their vision for superior pet care continues with making Larkin’s Run better than ever.

With our unique setting, expansive property, and lovingly designed facilities, Larkin’s Run has been trusted by local pet parents for almost 25 years. In that time, lots of opportunities for improvement have arisen, and we’re wasting no time setting a new benchmark for exceptional pet care in Madison, Guilford and Durham, CT. With many upgrades underway and even more planned, we’re excited for your pets to experience a new era of Larkin’s Run.

• 12 new zones of temperature control to provide year-round comfort, including air-conditioning for the first time
• Upgraded air filtration for an even healthier, cleaner environment
• Premium lodging suites including glass doors and improved privacy
• Improved outdoor play areas with specialty K9Grass for a cleaner, safer experience
• Superior fire and security monitoring systems for 24-hour protection
• Dog-friendly entertainment with Animal Planet and DogTV on lodging area televisions
• Improved sanitation, safety measures, and staff training protocols

Our pet care staff are here caring for pets from early morning until evening.
Our lobby hours are:

Monday-Friday: 8:30-12:00
Closed for lunch
Monday-Friday: 1:00-5:00

Saturday: 10:00-4:00
Sunday: 9:30-12:00

*The Lobby is closed during all major holidays.
